About us
S.A.Z. Kinderhilfswerk e.V. was founded in Hanover in April 2011. Our goal is to support children and young people of Kurdish families in need in all areas of life – such as education and leisure activities.
The organisation is politically and religiously independent and run entirely by volunteers.
Who we support
We support children who meet the following criteria:
- The family is in financial need.
- School performance is at least 70 out of 100 points.
- The child aspires to university studies and personal development.
- The child speaks the Kurdish language.
Our goals
The children we support should grow up to respect human rights, stand up for gender equality and oppose every form of oppression.
